Established in 2001 by David and Angeline Solari, Caffe Allegria has become a popular stop for lovers of Traditional Italian Cuisine.  Meals such as pasta, pizza, meat and fish along with authentic dishes such as quail, osso buco, trippa (tripe), fegato (liver), capretto (goat), baccala (ling fish) and many more.  In 2003, Caffe Allegria received the highest rating in South Australia for its Traditional Italian cuisine, service, atmosphere and value from the “Accademia Della Cucine Italiana”, a committee of food and wine coniesurs who travel globally to rate Italian Restaurants for authenticity.

Allegria has become a popular spot with many well known celebrities from around the globe.  Some of the guests have included Sir Jack Brabham, Murray Walker, Vern Shuppan, Phil Anderson, the Italian and Spanish cycling teams along with local personalities such as Stuart O’Grady, Mark Ricutto, Mark Bickley, Socceroos’s John and Ross Aloisi, Hawthorn legends Gary Ayers and ‘Dipper’ Dipierdomenico, just to name a few.
